Bridge Loan
If concerns about the current housing market have been keeping your parents from making a secure plan for their future at Friendship Village of Schaumburg, there's good news. Friendship Village has created a new financial program to help them to make the transition NOW and begin taking advantage of our lifetime plan for care without waiting until they sell their home.How it works:
When they choose a residence in one of our three independent living neighborhoods, they can take out a bridge loan* from a lender of their choice to pay all or part of the entrance fee. They can also receive discounts on their monthly service fee to help offset the cost of the interest on their bridge loan. In addition, as part of the Bridge Loan Program, they are eligible to receive a rebate check up to $10,000 if their home sells and closes within three months.If your parents don't have a lender of choice, they can work with our lending partner, Harris Bank, whose loan specialists will customize a loan program to their financial goals.
